About Us
Our Pastor:
We are currently in between pastors and are blessed to welcome bridge pastor Rev. Jon Yarger, who is supporting our Council, our youth education, and our Sunday worship at 8:45 a.m. Pr. Yarger will serve us through the Advent and Christmas season.
Please pray for our congregation as we call our next pastor and continue ministries in the Milaca community, including our current partnerships with Trinity Lutheran Church of Milaca, Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bock, and Milaca United Methodist Church. We are grateful that these congregations work together as God's hands and feet to do even more for people in need.
For baptisms, weddings or funerals, please contact the church office. We also rent our fellowship hall for special community occasions and celebrations.

Faith
Grace through faith is the cornerstone of our church in the tradition of Martin Luther. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in God, Jesus and Holy Spirit to guide our actions and welcome the stranger.
Scripture
We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we study together and welcome questions. Reading and understanding Scripture as it applies to today helps us all live out our faith. Religion is the practice. Christianity is a way of life.
Community
We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Our altar is an open table to all Baptized persons for grace, forgiveness and community. We welcome new expressions of faith and service, led by the Holy Spirit.
Youth Ministry
Zion's youth ministry prepares individuals to express their faith in the world through service to neighbor while surrounded by a church community. In the Lutheran tradition, we offer grace and hospitality in an inclusive environment where learning is emphasized and questions are welcome.
Our youth also participate in service projects and have the opportunity to travel for youth gatherings and mission trips. Scholarships are also available to high school students whose families are members of Zion and who demonstrate God's love in their community.
Children's Ministry
Join us for Sundays on Wednesdays! The fun begins at 5 pm with a meal and continues with music and activities for kids K-6th grade. Bring a friend. Our SOW program runs September through May most Wednesdays. No cost. Just a safe and nurturing space for kids to grow in God's love.
We also develop a children's Christmas program every December. You don't have to be a member of Zion for your child to participate. The program is scheduled on a Sunday morning, with snacks afterward.
Also, please know that we offer the sacrament of Baptism to children and adults whose families are prepared to follow the Christian way of life. There is some preparation for Baptism and we welcome your queries.
