Youth at Zion
Confirmation
Zion's Confirmation classes are held together with Trinity Lutheran on Wednesday evenings from September through the start of Lent. These classes are for students in grades 7-9.
Students in 10th grade are Confirmed during an Affirmation of Faith service, held on Reformation Sunday (the last Sunday of October). All students are assigned a mentor from the congregation during their 7th grade year, and that mentor remains in contact with them until they are Confirmed.
​Students are required to complete sermon notes and/or participate in service projects throughout their years of Confirmation.
Sermon Notes & Service Projects!
All confirmation students are required to complete a minimum of 15 sermon notes and/or service projects throughout the academic year.
Please submit the appropriate form below to get credit.
When completing sermon notes, you have the option of completing them by attending worship in-person or by viewing services online.
Please complete a sermon note sheet for EACH service you attend, even if you did not attend church at Zion.
